Dr. Mohd Rustam Mohd Rameli is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and serves as the Program Coordinator for Master Mix Mode, Master Full Research, and PhD studies. He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Melbourne, Australia. A registered psychologist, Dr. Mohd Rustam specializes in positive psychology, mental health, well-being, motivation, self-regulated learning, and psychological testing, with a strong focus on internet dependency, social media addiction, and the psychological impact of the fear of missing out (FOMO). Recognized for his expertise, he regularly serves as a reviewer for academic papers related to internet dependency and its psychological and social implications. He has also authored a book on learning anxiety and contributes as a reviewer for several academic journals. His research delves into the challenges of digital addiction, its impact on mental health, and strategies to foster resilience and self-regulation. As an educator and researcher, he is dedicated to advancing knowledge and promoting academic excellence in educational psychology and mental health.

Personal Introduction:
Graduated with a Ph.D. in Sexual Sociology from Renmin University of China, previously served as the Director of the Institute for Sexuality and Gender Studies and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at a university in Beijing. Currently working as a freelancer.
His research and publications cover a wide range of fields, including sexuality education, sexual diversity, gender studies, male engagement, psychological consultation, domestic violence, family education, and children’s literature. He has published over 80 books, with more than 20 major works in sexuality education, such as Empowerment-Based Sexuality Education: Providing Children with Quality Sexuality Education, Being Parents Without Awkwardness: 150 Questions on Family Sexuality Education, 16 Lectures on Family Sexuality Education, A Sexuality Education Guide Through Films, The Owl Early Childhood Sexuality Education Picture Book Series, Sex Education Fairy Tales for Children, and Sexuality Education Teaching Toolkits for Elementary, Middle, and High School, among others.

Personal Introduction:

Paromita Vohra is a filmmaker and writer whose work focuses on gender, feminism, urban life, love, desire and popular culture and spans many forms including documentary, fiction, print, video and sound installation. Her work as director includes the path-breaking documentaries Unlimited Girls and Q2P as well as Partners in Crime, Morality TV and the Loving Jehad, where’ Sandra, Cosmopolis: Two Tales of A City and A Woman’s Place; the television series Connected Hum Tum and several music videos. In 2015 she founded the path-breaking Agents of Ishq, India’s best loved platform about sex, love and desire, and was recently awarded a special UNFPA@50 award for engagements with the needs of adolescents and young people.

She has written the fiction feature Khamosh Pani (Silent Waters) the play Ishqiya Dharavi Ishtyle, the comic Priya’s Mirror and several documentaries. Her fiction and non-fiction have been widely published and her weekly column Paronormal Activity is in its 15th year.

Personal Introduction:
Dr. Chun-Ming Shih is currently the Director of the Graduate Institute of Human Sexuality at Shu-Te University in Taiwan and holds a Ph.D. in Education from National Kaohsiung Normal University. With a long-term dedication to academic research in sexology, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Studies in Sexuality and is a member of the Ministry of Education’s Gender Equity Education Talent Database in Taiwan. 

He has led key initiatives in Kaohsiung, including the Cybersecurity and Child Sexual Exploitation Prevention Advocacy Program and the Service Program for Victims of Sexual Harassment and Stalking, contributing to both research and practical efforts in sexual violence prevention. Additionally, he serves as an expert consultant on gender statistics and analysis for the Ocean Affairs Council. 

Actively engaged in university affairs, he is a member of Shu-Te University’s Faculty Evaluation Committee and the Campus Bullying Prevention Task Force, continuously promoting gender equity and campus safety education.

Personal Introduction:
Dr. Martha Tara Lee, with a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and a Master’s in Counseling, she founded Eros Coaching in 2009 to empower individuals and couples to lead self-actualized and pleasurable lives. Dr. Lee’s extensive experience includes working with couples facing unconsummated marriages, individuals with sexual inhibitions, discrepancies in sexual desire, as well as men with erection and ejaculation concerns. She is also an ally for members of the LGBTQIA+ and kink communities.

Dr. Lee’s expertise has garnered attention from the media, with frequent appearances in publications such as Huffington Post, Newsweek, South China Morning Post, and more. She is known for her engaging and informative events that promote fun and sex-positive education. In recognition of her contributions to the field, Dr. Lee has been appointed as the Resident Sexologist for prestigious organizations such as Singapore Cancer Society, Of Noah, OFZoey, and Virtus Fertility Centre. She is the host of radio show Eros Evolution for OMTimes Radio.

In addition to her professional accolades, Dr. Lee is a published author with several books to her name. Her works include Love, Sex and Everything In-Between (2013), Orgasmic Yoga; Meditation and Everything in Between (2015), From Princess to Queen: Heartbreaks, Heartgasms and Everything In-Between (2017), and Unihibited (2019). Dr. NG Hoi Nga Anna is Dean of Students cum Associate Professor of School of Humanities and Languages of Saint Francis University. She is a registered social worker, certified sex therapist, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, certified Integrative Body-Mind-Spirit practitioner, Personality Dimension Trainer, and a Senior Counseling and Training consultant of Caritas Human Empowerment and Achievement Training. She is the Founder and Coordinator of Research Unit on Love, Marriage and Family. Besides, she is also a magazine and newspaper columnist who has been interviewed by radio and TV programmes in promoting sexuality education. She has been guest speaker for various public sexuality education seminars. She serves as the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Association of Sexuality Educators, Researchers and Therapists since 2017. Her research interest includes outcome evaluation of holistic care intervention workshops and marital counselling, sexual health and sexuality education, female penetrative intercourse difficulty, sexual self-concept of female adult survivors of child sexual abuse, related factors of female sexual dysfunction, and psychological health of primary and secondary school students.

Dr. Nicole Chen is a renowned counsellor with over two decades of experience in couples and family therapy. As the founder and Clinical Director of Heal Systemic Therapy Centre, she has dedicated her career to guiding individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges.

Drawing upon her expertise in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy and Multigenerational Family Therapy, Dr. Chen employs a systemic approach that recognises the interconnectedness of personal, family, and societal dynamics. This holistic perspective allows her to provide tailored interventions that address the root causes of her clients’ challenges.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Chen is an esteemed educator and researcher. As an Adjunct Associate Professor at Sunway University, she has been imparting her knowledge to aspiring therapists for over 16 years. Her significant contributions to the field are reflected in her numerous publications, presentations at international conferences, and active roles in professional organisations, including the Malaysian Marriage and Family Therapy Association (MyMFT) where she served as President. Recognised as a Fellow of the Asian Academy of Family Therapy (AAFT), Dr. Chen is a leader in the field.

Personal Introduction:
He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in educational psychology, counseling, and guidance. He has received professional training in sexology and sexuality education and is a certified sexuality educator and consultant. With more than 20 years of experience in education, counseling, and sexuality education in Malaysia, he is a seasoned consultant and educational trainer.

Currently, he serves as a senior lecturer, teaching courses related to psychological development, counseling, guidance, and sexuality education. He frequently travels to conduct lectures, camps, and workshops, and regularly contributes articles on sexuality education to newspapers and magazines. Additionally, he is often invited as a guest speaker on various radio and television talk shows, including Malaysia’s state-owned radio station Ai FM, where he has been a featured guest on the sexuality education program Love and Sexual Happiness for over two decades, actively promoting public understanding and awareness of sexuality education.

In 2009, he co-founded the Malaysian Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality alongside a group of sexuality education professionals. As the leader of the board and its members, he has been dedicated to advancing locally driven sexuality education programs for schools and communities, serving children and adults alike. He held the position of president during the first, second, sixth, and seventh terms, making significant contributions to the development and dissemination of sexuality education in Malaysia.
